Creative Interview: Nate Hill / Visual Artist

Nate Hill is a Melbourne based freelance photographer and digital artist who creates stunning visual art. Also, beyond his visual skills, he is also a musician. His works are really inspiring and we love what he did so far!

You can check his portfolio from his own web site.

How did you start your career?

I took the long way around with my career as an artist. I started a Visual Arts degree, paused it (and never went back) to be in a band and teach drums, became a stay at home Dad, then a part time portrait photographer, and then a freelance photographer/digital artist.

Where do you find your inspiration?

I find inspiration in a number of places. Music, other artists/designers, nature/landscapes…

In which part of the day do you feel more productive?

I’m probably more of a morning person. I can definitely work efficiently throughout the day. However, I really enjoy music/concert photography which is obviously mostly done at night.

So really if I’m passionate about something, I’ll do it anytime…

Which softwares do you use while creating?

I’m an Apple nerd… I use my iPhone, iPad Pro and iMac for my art. As far as software goes, everything ends up in Photoshop and Lightroom. I have a few ios apps that I frequently use to generate parts of my digital art.

As Vagon team, We really inspired from his works!
